I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I’m going to say yes, they should be allowed to display Christmas symbols. I don’t know why it is that when someone says something loud enough, people begin to believe it. Separation of church and state is NOT in our constitution, and that was not the design of our founding fathers. They wanted the freedom of religion so many had come her for, and they didn’t want government sticking its hand in which is how freedom of religion was squelched where they came from.
Did you know that some folks out there are trying to rewrite history? “Separation of church and state” is one way, but also in Williamsburg, they are not allowed to talk about how the people came for freedom of religion, they are told to say they came for money. Some did, but that’s not the whole truth, and I don’t get how people can get away with blatant truth spinning about a written record of our history.
So, if it’s not vulgar, profane or otherwise indecent, display it! If you want the country our fathers founded, you must follow the path they lay down for us. To do otherwise is to destroy the foundations of this country that has been so great for so long. Our foundation is crumbling, and we’re watching it fall. How sad.
