In an ideal world we would all be able to go about our lives 24/7 without the need or want for drugs and all live in a natural high state. However, this is not realistic. We all have our stresses and many of us have a lot of time where we have to push ourselves and work hard. So it is natural that we are going to want something to help us unwind.
Whether it is alcohol or marijuana being used, if these drugs are done in moderation and not relied upon (which obviously leads to addiction) then it can be good for you if it helps you to relax or in some cases where it eases your suffering.
There has been a lot of research to show that people with illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and Aids are relieved from some of the symptoms such as pain and vomiting when they are taking marijuana. Even the US government has admitted that it would be unfair not to admit the benefits of marijuana for people suffering from severe illnesses as long as taken under medical supervision.
Marijuana comes from a plant and therefore is a natural medicinal relief. When you compare this with other drugs prescribed by doctors it makes you realise that you will not be putting so many toxins in your body if any depending on the marijuana. If we go back to the subject of marijuana being taken as a recreational drug, the fact that it is not as toxic as any other drug shows that it is better for you.
Another wonderful thing about marijuana is that it is not addictive. So if your consumption is getting out of control and you are starting to lose too much memory or having to deal with paranoia, it is not hard to come off the stuff and get back to a realistic perspective relatively quickly.
In my personal experience, marijuana is good for you if you know what you are doing and don’t let it take over your life. However, if you use it morning till night, 24/7 you are more than likely to lose the plot through paranoia, loss of memory and a possible eventual outcome is schizophrenia.
